Well the hard work began today with the promo work for the World Championships to be held in Miami on the 3rd November 2012.
We started out with a visit to our associate gym for the event, The Downtown Athletic Club. The club is only minutes from the venue, is an excellent facility run by people who care. Click here for the DAC FB page.
The owner showed us round today and was understandably proud of his excellent club. The feel of the place was great and we are so happy to be working with them on the Bench Your Own Bodyweight contest. The have offered us great rates for competitors to train and I am sure you will agree with us when you SE the place for yourselves.
Next was onto the Metro mover ( more affectionately know as the Johnny Cabs to you and I). Southbound takes us to 10 th St station and e Publix supermarket and Mary Brickell Village which has an LA Fitness ( mahoosive), eateries and my new favourite shop -the love Peace shop.
We leafleted and built some new contacts for vendor tables. Back on the Johnny cab and a quick look at the venue. Awesome, you guys ain’t gonna believe it when you rock up to the Hyatt. Then on to South Beach to leaflet the gyms. I’ll add more tomorrow off to my bed:-)
